Phoenix Loss Prevention

A brief history.

Paul and Sharon Moore founded Phoenix Loss Prevention in 1986. The Moore's had one goal in mind; to establish a company that clients could believe in and trust to solve difficult loss problems.

Sharon Moore named the company after the fabled sacred bird of ancient Egyptians. It was rumored that the Phoenix would come out of Arabia every 500 years to Heliopolis, where it would burn itself on the altar and would rise again from its ashes young and beautiful. This was a symbol of immortality.

Phoenix Loss Prevention was incorporated in the state of Georgia with the first office in Jonesboro, Georgia. Our primary services were undercover investigations, workers’ comp and general investigations. We expanded to include backgrounds, security-safety surveys and interviewing to better serve our clients, needs. In 1994, we established a safety department and expanded into DOT and OSHA compliance.

In 1999, we recognized that there was a void which needed to be filled to become a truly full service security company. We established a security systems department to complement our existing services by installing alarm systems, camera systems (both CCTV and covert), card access systems, gate operators and residential systems.

Phoenix Loss Prevention is a people-oriented company. As such, we recognize that serving the client is the most important thing we do. Over the past 17 years, Phoenix Loss Prevention has established a reputation throughout the United States as loss prevention experts with honesty, integrity and fierce loyalty to our clients and their shareholders. Some of the largest companies in the world hire us to help with their loss prevention needs.
